General Terms of Service & Authorization Agreement

Effective Date: July 1, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the conditions under which MulliSoft Tech Services (“MulliSoft,” “we,” or “our”) provides technical assistance to individuals and small businesses in Richmond, BC and surrounding areas. By requesting or receiving our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

MulliSoft offers in-home and remote technical support including computer troubleshooting, device setup, software support, networking assistance, data help, smart home configuration, and general tech education. We provide services on a best-effort basis and cannot guarantee that every issue will be resolved due to hardware or software limitations beyond our control.

2. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring access to your device(s) and premises as needed. You confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of all equipment presented for service.

3. Data Backup and Risk Acknowledgment

You understand that it is your responsibility to back up important data before service begins. While MulliSoft takes all reasonable precautions during service, you acknowledge that technical work carries inherent risks. MulliSoft is not responsible for pre-existing damage, unbacked-up data loss, or third-party hardware/software issues. However, our team will always act in good faith and with care to avoid any avoidable harm.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept e-Transfer, credit card, or cheque. Invoices unpaid after 15 days may be subject to late fees. For questions about billing, please contact support@mullisoft.com. As of the date above, MulliSoft does not charge GST under the small supplier threshold.

5. Warranty and Return Visit

If the exact same issue recurs within 3 calendar days of the service, MulliSoft may provide a goodwill return visit or follow-up assistance at no additional charge. This does not apply to new problems, user-caused errors, or unrelated issues.

6. Limitation of Liability

While MulliSoft takes all reasonable precautions and maintains active general and cybersecurity insurance coverage, you acknowledge that technical work carries inherent risks. MulliSoft’s liability for direct loss or damage is limited to the cost of services rendered, except where otherwise covered by our insurance policies or required by law. We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a $25 fee.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The latest version will be available on our website at www.mullisoft.com/terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
